We make use of high frequent AIS data streams, weather and tidal current datasets, fuel curves and some smart AI Algorithms. Our software is designed for harbour towage, and other workboat operators.
A vessel’s fuel consumption for propulsion is a result of energy needed to push the vessel through the water at the given vessel speed through water. This relationship, between fuel consumption versus vessel speed, is typically an exponential one.
The consumed fuel is directly converted into CO2 : For the MDO type of naval fuel we get 3200 kg CO2 for each tone of fuel which is burned.
